Founder’s Story
The first Leylie shirt debuted in 2011 when designer Leylie Aghili found herself craving a new creative outlet.
Having recently opened her first multi-label boutique, she wanted to make something exclusive to the store; as a long time lover of button downs, she made a small run of a basic shirt in one fabrication.
Within days, that shirt sold out and soon she found herself consumed in designing and manufacturing her own line of shirts.
And the rest is (shirting) history.
